Job Details Position - Shuttle Driver Location - Edmonton Airport Hours - MUST have OPEN AVAILABILITY MUST Have Class 1, 2 , or 4 (Must have experience driving shuttles or big vehicles) MUST have great customer service, and be able to communicate in English. The Spirit of the Position: The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient, and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the airport terminal and employee parking, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers. Principal Job Duties Meet and greet all guests upon arrival; provides assistance with loading and unloading luggage for every passenger. Perform DOT daily inspections on assigned equipment, report safety issues immediately to Operations Manager or Shift Lead. Transport passengers via a fixed route with scheduled pick-up and drop-off locations for passengers. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe Shuttle at all times. Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead. Provide excellent customer service to guests; respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner, give directions to nearest highway, destination, etc. Be aware of potential passengers and approach guests seeking assistance. Record passenger number stats and complete daily/shift reporting as required. Always communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates. Frequently operate two-way radio. All other duties as assigned. Requirements 3 or more years of driving experience. Comply with Federal DOT, Provincial Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays. Physical Demands Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 22.67 kg Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requirements
