Kîsik Aerial Survey Inc. Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Kîsik Aerial Survey Inc. is seeking applications for a licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Kîsik operates a small fleet of piston aircraft and provides aerial acquisition services to a variety of industries and clients throughout Western Canada. The position will be based out of Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in Delta, BC., and may include the occasional evening, weekend, and holiday for AOG situations during the busier operational summer months. During the fall/winter heavy maintenance season, engineers are scheduled to work regular day shifts, albeit with greater flexibility due to reduced operational requirements. Duties and Responsibilities AME’s report to the Director of Maintenance (DoM) and are responsible for: Carrying out maintenance and repair of aircraft and aeronautical products as instructed by the DoM in accordance with company manuals and Transport Canada regulations. Mentor and ensure that apprentices under their supervision in the shop and hangar areas are always observing safety precautions in the performance of their duties. Maintaining a clean, organized, and functional hangar and work area. Ensuring that appropriate manuals and other available resources and information are utilized in the work carried out and supervised. Qualifications and Experience Must hold a valid M1 Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license Experience with King Air, PA-31 Navajo, and single engine Cessnas an asset Good working knowledge of CARS Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments Strong verbal and written communication skills Adaptable, resourceful and creative problem solving skills Demonstrated high standards of professionalism and safety in all work-related activities Require basic hand tools. Specialty tools are supplied by the company Compensation In exchange, we offer you: 45$/hr to 65$/hr based on experience Competitive contractor or full-time salary based on experience and responsibilities.
