Perform avionics maintenance, repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, and maintenance release activities for the Canadian government's CC330 Husky fleet at Ottawa International Airport. Support fleet readiness for the Strategic Tanker Transport Capability program and travel internationally as a flying maintenance technician when required.

The Avionics Technician will install and route wiring, cables, and harnesses throughout helicopter airframes according to engineering drawings. They will also assist with testing equipment setup and collaborate with senior technicians to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role involves the development, integration, testing, and certification of advanced avionics and electrical systems for commercial and military aircraft. Key tasks include developing system architectures, managing requirements, and coordinating with certification authorities like the FAA and EASA.

Act as the primary technical support contact for customers to handle troubleshooting, repairs, and retrofit activities for aircraft landing systems. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical challenges and provide hands-on support at customer sites including a 24/7 on-call rotation.
