Hourly wage of $17.00 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Permanent Positions we are looking to fill P1: Monday to Wednesday 1300-1800 P2: Saturday to Wednesday 1500-2300Responsibilities for Airport Terminal Security Guard Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Checking Bags of the Passengers before departure Making the Passengers aware about the protocols at the premises Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterrent, and report writing/note taking. Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors Qualifications for Airport Terminal Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Manitoba security license Exceptional customer service skills Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) RAIC would be an Asset but not Mandatory This position requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency due to airport clearances Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful and fast -paced environment Apply today – this could be more than a job! 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
