Senior Director, Airport Assessments and Services Reports to: Senior Vice-President, Chief Services and Products Officer Location: Montreal, Canada Airports Council International (ACI) is the global voice of the world’s airports, bringing the industry together since 1991. Major Duties And Accountabilities Areas of responsibility: Provide strategic leadership and direction for ACI’s APEX programmes. Lead the design, planning, delivery, administration, and financial oversight of APEX programmes. Ensure the quality, consistency, and continuous improvement of APEX assessments and deliverables. Develop new products, assessments, and advisory services related to airport and airside operations and the related business cases. Responsible for identifying, developing and delivering new assessment, and other relevant products and services Develop strategic partnerships and new market opportunities to expand ACI’s programmes and services. Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports to support effective planning and decision-making. Manage the programme P&L, ensuring financial performance and achievement of revenue and profitability objectives on an annual basis Key Responsibilities Lead the ongoing development, evolution, and growth of ACI’s APEX and assessment programmes. Such development having as objectives to enhance the value of the ACI membership and increase general revenues for ACI. Leverage industry networks and strategic partnerships to identify and develop new approaches, opportunities, and markets for peer reviews and assessments. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industries and institutional stakeholders, including ICAO, EASA, the World Bank, and other multilateral organizations. Establish and manage effective relationships with ACI Regions, internal subject matter experts, ACI committees, World Business Partners, and external partners and vendors. Provide strategic advice and subject matter expertise to support ACI’s broader organizational strategy and priorities. Lead, develop, and coach the APEX and Assessment team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Represent ACI and act as a spokesperson and subject matter expert at industry events, conferences, meetings, and other engagements, in person or virtually, as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required to support ACI’s strategic and operational objectives. Qualifications, Experience And Skills Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Airport/Aviation Management, Security or Police Studies, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in airport operations, including significant exposure to airport and/or airside operational environments. Minimum of 10 years of experience leading and managing teams. Strong leadership and people management skills, with demonstrated experience in an airport management environment. Strong negotiation and business development skills and experience. High level of professional integrity, interpersonal skills, and sound judgement. Demonstrated experience managing a P&L, developing and delivering products and services, and successfully driving revenue growth Proven ability to influence senior executives, build and maintain trusted collaborative relationships, and provide strategic advice and thought leadership. Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. Excellent project prioritization, planning, and resource management capabilities. Excellent consulting, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex international and multicultural environment, with a high degree of cultural awareness. Excellent English written, verbal, presentation, and public-speaking skills. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset. Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, airport or aviation management, security or police studies, engineering, or a related field, plus at least 12 years of relevant airport operations experience and 10 years leading teams. Candidates should bring airport management leadership, P&L and revenue-growth experience, strong financial and business development capabilities, and excellent stakeholder, consulting, communication, and planning skills.
