Job Description (Detailed) We are seeking an experienced Lead Stress Engineer to support aerostructures engineering activities for an aerospace program based in the Mississauga/Toronto area. The selected candidate will lead technical stress-analysis activities while coordinating engineering deliverables between customer stakeholders and offshore engineering teams. The role requires strong expertise in aircraft structural analysis, design validation, project coordination, and customer communication. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in: Classical/hand stress analysis Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Aircraft primary and secondary structures Structural substantiation Design modifications Strength evaluations Stress report preparation Design validation Candidates should also be capable of leading technical discussions, tracking project activities, coordinating engineering teams, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Experience with commercial or business aircraft programs and Aircraft OEM environments is highly preferred. Screening Requirements Please confirm the following during screening: Minimum 10 years of aerostructures experience. Hands-on classical/hand stress-analysis expertise. FEA tools used and ability to interpret results. Experience with aircraft primary and secondary structures. OEM and certification experience. Structural substantiation, modifications, strength evaluation, and stress-report experience. Technical leadership and coordination of onsite/offshore engineering teams. Ability to work 100% onsite in Mississauga. Salary expectations within CAD 100,000–130,000 per annum. Current Canadian work authorization and availability.
