Job Summary:
Responsible for assembling production aircraft according to established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture aircraft components and complete builds in accordance with technical data (work order, drawing, and process specification) to meet production schedule and quality standards.
- Assemble and fit prefabricated parts to form subassemblies, working at benches or directly on an aircraft structure.
- Check aircraft assemblies, using measuring and testing equipment, for adherence to engineering specifications.
- Install/Modify aircraft flight controls, fuel system, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues found during manufacturing process.
- Complete detailed inspection documentation
- Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a related position
- Aviation experience considered an asset.
- Possess basic measuring and calculating skills.
- Possess excellent manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Attentive to details
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
