About the role

Reporting to: Operations Control Manager Location: Calgary, Palmer Hangar Schedule: Four days on shift followed by four days off, based on 12-hour workday. As a Flight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational logistics to support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company flights. This role supports pilots by ensuring trip logistics and supporting documentation are completed accurately and communicated in a timely manner. The Flight Coordinator works proactively to support future flight operations while adapting to same-day operational changes as required. In this role you will: Coordinate operational requirements for company flights, including customs arrangements, airport slots, permits, and airport access requirements. Coordinate airport services and support requirements, including FBO notifications, handling arrangements, aircraft cleaning, and other operational logistics. Confirm flight assignments with crew members and ensure flight details and supporting documentation are communicated in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Communicate and monitor the completion of overseas flight requirements with third-party international trip planning providers. Coordinate crew meal arrangements in accordance with company standards and policies. Identify and proactively coordinate Enhanced Support requirements for applicable flights, ensuring appropriate support measures are in place to maximize available crew rest and support operational readiness. Ensure Irregular Operations (IROPs) response and recovery efforts are proactive and timely to preserve exceptional operational performance and customer service. Provide support for crew travel logistics in accordance with company standards and policies as required, including after-hours coverage when Travel Coordinators are not on shift. Additional duties as assigned by the Operations Control Manager. To be successful in this role, you will have: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of related experience facilitating operational logistics, preferably within the aviation industry. Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations and Standards. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). Completed Transport Canada’s Flight Dispatcher Generic Written Examinations (FDOPS and FDMET) is an asset.
