What are your contributions to the team?
Work on a night shift that will start early afternoon in support of tooling fabrication. Design, modify and update tooling drawings based on method requirements. Participate in jig testing in collaboration with other departments. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders, suppliers and customers. Analyze and solve technical problems related to the design and manufacture of tooling.
How to thrive in this role?
College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design profile, or equivalent. 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in design and/or industrial manufacturing. Expertise in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX using a PLM system. Excellent interpersonal skills and client-oriented approach. Ability to work in a team and meet tight deadlines. Professional, quality-oriented and innovative mindset. Bilingual (French and English) - an asset. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations - an asset. Demonstrates leadership and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing methods (e.g., aerospace assembly, composites, machining, 3D printing, aircraft detail tooling
