We are seeking a
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or designate, the individual is responsible for the maintenance of Air North, Yukon's Airline's aircraft and aircraft equipment in a safe and effective manner including: servicing, inspecting, repairing and monitoring of aircraft to ensure airworthiness standards are met. The ACA is supervised by the Production Supervisor or Lead ACA while on duty.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials and manuals
•Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
•Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
•Ensure the Company's safety standards are adhered to at all times
•Ensure work accomplished is correctly documented and recorded
•Verify parts installed onto the aircraft are properly certified, prior to installation
•Oversee the work of apprentices and providing training/guidance in order for them to become AME's
•Understand and comply with all regulatory requirements and Company policies, manuals, and documentation requirements in accordance with Airworthiness Certification Authority
•Complete log book entries and create and complete task cards and non- routine cards (NRC)
Qualifications/Conditions of Employment:
•Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 rated License
•Minimum 2 years related experience
•Type endorsements on
•Successful completion of required company indoctrination, general and recurrent training
•A minimum of 6 months experience within the last 24 months working on M1 & M2 aircraft of which at least 3 months is working on M2 aircraft
•Required to maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
•Be physically fit (able to lift up to 30 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, work in pressurized environment)
•Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
Please note that the positions will only be available in Whitehorse. Selected candidates must be willing to relocate. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.
