JMJ Evolution is recruiting an experienced Flight Administrator for its world-renowned client located in St-Hubert.



Main responsibilities and tasks:


The Flight Administrator can be assigned on a temporary basis such as during client statutory holidays, the absence of client’s personnel or as requested by the Assistant Operations Manager (hereinafter defined as “on Duty”). The principal responsibilities of the Flight Administrator, as described into Flight Administration Manual, is to prepare trip itineraries for flight crews while coordinating all the necessary logistics that are associated with a trip. The Flight Administrator must have a strong knowledge of aircraft scheduling parameters while ensuring timely and accurate schedule communication to crew-members and maintenance technicians.


Other responsibilities:

  • When on Duty, monitors the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to final destination (flight following);
  • Ensures all ground handling, fuel, landing/departure slots, Customs officials, eAPIS (electronic Advance Passenger Information System) and ground transportation are in order before releasing a flight;
  • Advises the Assistant Operations Manager of potential/actual delays and conditions affecting safety of flight;
  • Responsible for crew logistics, arranging/coordinating crew ground transportation and hotel accommodations;
  • Upon request from the Flight Administration Dept., is responsible for passenger logistics thus ensuring that passengers’ catering and other requests are taken care of;
  • Ensure that all operational plans comply with the CARs 604 and company policies and procedures;
  • Perform data entry and complete reports (e.g. internal chargeback assignments).
Profil:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in aviation management or related business;
  • Post high school training;
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English (written & spoken);
  • Competence and confidence with the use of a variety of computer/IT programs/platforms;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
  • Superior customer service, communication and relationship building skills;
  • Highly organized and detail oriented;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong team player.
