L3Harris MAS is looking to hire a Proposal Coordinator as a key member of the Program Management team with the mandate to deliver compelling and winning proposals for key Acquisition and In Service Support contracts.
As Specialist, Project Management (proposals) you will: Reporting to the L3Harris Proposal/Program Manager and member of a multi disciplined/multi organization team, you will be responsible to oversee and coordinate the development and production of all the moving pieces of major proposals, which include ensuring that documents meet the request for proposal requirements and are up to L3Harris company standards. The Proposal Coordinator will facilitate the proposal preparation and review process, provide team members guiding proposal production instructions and will track progress.
Essential Functions: In close collaboration with the Proposal/Program manager, the Proposal Technical Lead and the Proposal Capture Manager, you will be responsible to:
Analyze the RFP Proposal Delivery requirements and ensure that the proposal meet requirements.
Support the creation of a schedule to meet proposal deliverables, milestones and deadlines.
Communicate instructions across the team stakeholders to get input and meet deadlines.
Coordinate and maintain the team documentation efforts by requesting content from Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders as required.
Provide status updates to team members and executives.
Support the Proposal Edition, including templates and boilerplate text.
Support and coordinate the content review process with key stakeholders
Promote project management best practices, including planning, execution and risks monitoring, change control and closing.
A person who is great at achieving tasks and deadlines, understands proposal production best practices and can see the proposal development process with fresh and professional eyes
Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering required;
Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management or proposal coordination (any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered);
A familiarity with proposal development process and proposal creation software;
Excellent communication skills with Internal/External stakeholders at all levels, in French and English;
Experienced with Presentations and Meetings facilitation;
Strong leadership, planning, time management and analytical skills and attention to details;
Self motivated with an ability to handle multiple tasks and effective at balancing priorities and deadlines;
Experience working within bids and proposals or Government RFPs is an asset;
Experience in the Aerospace and Canadian Defence Industry is considered an asset.
Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
