KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists facilities team with the overall building operation and providing a safe and secure environment for employees, guests, customers, flight crews, tenants, and visitors.
  • Keep records inventory, and ongoing management of records to ensure current and relevant files are always available.
  • Ensure requests are completed in alignment with the Facilities Service Desk tool.
  • Respond to inquiries from facility tenants, users, and staff and provide facility information.
  • Support the team as they perform their routine duties.
  • Support the team in ensuring that standards are upheld when it comes to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, parking lots, etc.
  • Performs general cleaning duties as required and in support of contracted janitorial. Includes but is not limited to weed pulling, FOD/garbage collection, clearing entrances, and pathways of snow/ice during inclement weather.
  • Move and/or assist office moves including larger pieces of furniture to and from storage.
  • Assist in the set-up and take-down of company and third-party events on-site.
  • Regular facility walkthroughs noting/actioning repairs and maintenance are required.
  • Sign in/out and escort contractors as per Skyservice Security policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
  • Previous experience with events, cleaning, or property management would be an asset
  • Must have a valid Quebec driver's license.
  • Familiar with hand and power tools - operations and safety
  • Must pass a Police Background Check and secure a local airport Restricted Area Identification Card.
  • Experience with CAD or other design, facility software, and Microsoft Paint, is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be safety and customer service-oriented while possessing a security-focused mindset.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to set priorities, understand and follow directions with minimal supervision. Must be able to organize time efficiently and tasks effectively.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours which includes and being call as required which may require 24/7/365 responses.
  • Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
