JMJ Evolution is seeking for Engine Mechanics for permanent position in Dorval.
Description:
Replacement
of various jet engine components and modules, i.e. high or low pressure
compressor (HPC/LPC), high or low pressure turbine (HPT/LPT), fan blades etc.
Disassembly
and assembly of jet engine modules;
Inspection,
replacement or repair of worn, defective, or damaged components, using special
tooling, gauges, and testing equipment
Perform
troubleshooting procedures to solve technical problems of jet engines and write
technical reports;
Inspect,
repair, replace and change jet engine components on wing and in-situation
Requirements:
DEC
in Aircraft Maintenance, essential;
Computer
skills, MS Office;
Experience
working with whole engine of wing;
Experience
on the CFM56-5A/B; -7B;
Or
experience on the V2500 engine;
Borescope
inspection, an asset;
Knowledge
of the relevant methods of measuring and cracks inspection;
Mechanical
Skills: Engine mechanics will need familiarity with parts and components of
engines, as well as the tools to fix them.
Technical
Skills: Need to be familiar with electronic diagnostic equipment to
troubleshoot repairs.
Manual
Dexterity: Good hands and great hand-eye coordination;
Troubleshooting
Skills: Need to be able to look at engine components, identify problems, and
think about possible solutions.
Knowledge
of relevant airworthiness standards, regulatory requirements;
Good
interpersonal skills, problem solving oriented mind set;
Fluent
English written and spoken;
Open
to work flexible schedules
One to tree (1 to 3) years experience on jet engines (beginner to intermediate)
