Position Summary
Reporting to the Division Manager on site at Kitchener, the successful candidate will direct, manage and support Operational Planning (Master Production/Material Scheduling & Production Control), Procurement, Stores (Shipping/Receiving) and Logistics. Responsibilities within this position include development, oversight/reporting and maintenance of site Inventory (planning & management), MPS (Master Production Schedule) and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) plans and authorization of PO (Purchase Order) releases for the Magellan Aerospace Kitchener site.
To support the above the successful candidate will direct monthly structured review meetings to ensure alignment of the production and procurement plan with customer commitments. Champion processes to ensure/maintain accurate planning parameters and load vs. capacity analysis to support creation of executable production plans managed through Production Controllers. Follow up on and address any planning/procurement deviations. Liaise with multiple departments as needed, including but not limited to, Production, Contracts, Engineering, and Quality.
