Quality Manager - Component Repair & Reworks

StandardAero seeks a dynamic Quality Manager to champion quality standards and continuous improvement across our Component Repair & Reworks operations. You'll play a vital role in driving excellence ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and exceeding customer expectations.

What You'll Do:

  • Champion Quality Culture: Instill a deep commitment to quality throughout the organization, promoting continuous improvement and fostering proactive problem-solving.
  • Shape Quality Strategy: Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies and procedures that drive operational excellence within the business unit.
  • Own Data-Driven Improvement: Proactively analyze quality data (warranty, product rectification, customer satisfaction) to pinpoint and execute improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with marketing, operations, and engineering to infuse quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of FAA Part 145 Repair Station requirements, regulatory bodies, and ISO 9000 quality system standards. Serve as a key interface with external auditors.

What You'll Bring:

  • Essential Background: Proven quality management experience within aviation, ideally within the context of component repair. Solid understanding of FAA Part 145 Repair Station regulations.
  • Data Fluency: Exceptional data analysis skills to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Passion for continuous improvement, demonstrated through successful implementation of quality initiatives.
  • Strong Leadership: Ability to motivate, lead, and develop a team of quality professionals.
  • Excellent Communicator: Clear and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bachelors's degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering) or an A&P certificate is highly preferred.
