StandardAero is seeking a Customer Product Manager to support it's CF34/CFM56 Business unit in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.


The Customer Product Manager supports program management and customer service within a specified program and/or specified product, acting as a liaison between operations, engineering, material and the customer for transactions and fleet requirements in support of large program customers.

The CPM is also responsible for assisting in meeting planned sales volumes, identifying opportunities and profitability objectives, while understanding and implementing solutions to maximize customer experiences with long term strategies that supports the development and maintenance of the customer's fleet and meeting the business unit's financial objectives and requirements.

What You'll do:

  • Manage assigned customer programs and be familiar with all contractual and regulatory requirements of the customer.
  • Ensure positive customer relations by providing support related to the Standard Aero products
  • Provide support to program team in the preparation of proposals and participate on relevant bid teams.
  • Work with program/customer service teams to ensure targets for performance on turn time, invoicing and other performance measures are being met.
  • Ensure all contractual or agreed to reports are provided to customers in a timely manner.
  • In conjunction with Sales and Customer Service, coordinate the receipt of work into the organization, including engine induction information (Cycle 0 Templates) and other documentation as required, for each customer transaction.
  • Represent the Program Manager as required, at estimate events to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Assist in invoice dispute resolution as required.
  • Monitor the financial status of each specified customer.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and provide solutions and options for service and/or sales required to meet customers' needs.
  • Provide awareness of customer concerns to the Business Unit and aide in finding resolution.
  • Monitor customer event forecasts to ensure timely induction of work.
  • Assist in maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and communicating the customer's event forecast.
  • Maintain and assist with the development of the business relationship with the assigned customers. Participate when required with customer visits.
  • May travel with Program Manager as required.
  • Responsible for observing and reporting any issues or concerns in support of the company-wide quality, environmental and Safety Management System [SMS] policies.
  • Provide oversight to customer's product through the MRO process.
  • Manage and control customer owned consignment inventory, including purchase requests. Utilizing inventory to maximize the benefit to the customer and Standard Aero..
  • May be requested to provide support and relief for Customer Account Leads.
  • Carry out additional projects as assigned.

What skills you will use:

  • Completion of related 4-year post-secondary education (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or related 2-year post-secondary program with additional directly related experience
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of company processes and instructions.
  • Thorough knowledge of production management, sales/marketing computer information systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of company production processes and of the levers available to various functional groups to maximize sales service and margin.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
