Job Description

Manage the detailed schedules in coordination with the Master Production Scheduler in order to meet the plan
- Participate in the weekly MPS meetings and support the shop commitments.
- Plan to achieve on time delivery to MPS.
- Ensure Planners update SAP with the shop schedules in conjunction with the MPS team.
- Revise schedules when necessary to take into consideration unforeseen changes.
- Provide delivery dates and attends delivery meetings with Assembly and intersite focals
- Closely monitor the production, identify the issues or risks affecting the deliveries to customer and expedite when necessary.
- Manage building a recovery plan when required and communicate on new proposed schedules.

Perform Execution load and capacity analysis on the 3 month horizon
- Run Load & Capacity analysis for the shop on the short term.
- Work in collaboration with the Production team leaders in order to identify Capacity constraints, finite schedule bottlenecks when appropriate & assign priorities.
- Manage the Dominant Work Center process to ensure visibility of the constraint

Analyse the MRP output and manage the Work Orders
- Ensure Planners review and action work order reschedule messages based on MRP recommendations and shop capacity.
- Be responsible for the complete Production Order Life Cycle, from conversion to technical completion.
- Ensure production orders are updated by coordinating methods changes.
- Schedule/monitor production progress, covering operations made internally as well as operations offloaded externally.
- Ensure Planners maintain the production schedules in SAP in line with realistic plans.
- Ensure delivery dates on all programs are up to date to support the Line of Balance reviews.
- Ensure the availability of Components to support the Plan.
- Coordinate the resolution of Work Order shortages (incl. Customer Service transfers).

Integrate the impact of the Non-Quality into the plans and set the priorities.
- Liaise with Quality regarding non-conformances and FAI's and maintain work order schedules accordingly.
- Follow-up on NCR's impacting delivery & establish priorities amongst the cross-functional teams (in coordination with PPMs if necessary)

Manage the Master Data in SAP is to ensure it's accurate for the Shop
- Ensure Materials planning data parameters are correct (order policies, safety stock level, make/buy, lead-times for manufactured parts).
- Monitor the Work Centre parameters (Queue time / efficiency / opening hours) and work with MPS Scheduler to update parameters quarterly

Job Requirements

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suites & SAP
- Knowledge of Production planning fundamentals (MRP2 principles, e.g. APICS)
- Knowledge of problem solving and continuous improvement tools (LEAN)
- Proven team player with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production flows
- Detail oriented self-starter with ability to work independently
- Strong influencing and relationship-building skills to drive actions to closure
- Flexibility; ability to change focus quickly and adapt to quickly changing priorities
- Time Management skills; ability to organize and prioritize workload and to coordinate several projects at one time with aggressive deadlines
- Confidence to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Operate with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, creativity and integrity
- Technical, commercial and financial knowledge
