AVIONICS SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

Degree: DCS
Goal of the program:  To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to assemble and install avionics systems; to inspect them; to repair and identify problems.   
Professional outcome: Avionics technician
Note: A Transport Canada-issued Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence (AME) (category E – avionics) is required for avionics mechanics, technicians and inspectors who issue maintenance releases and aircraft airworthiness reports.
Workplace: Aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, repair and revision companies; airlines and other aircraft operators.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Degree: DCS
Goal of the program: To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to carry out the maintenance of engines, aircrafts structures, rotary wings and propellers; to maintain electrical and avionics systems.
Professional outcome: Aircraft/Spacecraft mechanic and inspector

Degree: DCS
Goal of the program: To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to carry out technical design, planning and quality control for aircraft manufacturing.
Professional outcome: Aircraft manufacturing technician
Workplace: Aircraft, aircraft engines and aircraft components manufacturers

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Degree: DCS
Goal of the program: To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to carry out the technical design of different components and mechanical systems, to plan manufacturing and  to perform quality control.
Professional outcome: Mechanical Engineering technologist and technician. 
Workplace:  Aircraft and aircraft component manufacturers. 

AIRCRAFT PILOTING TECHNOLOGY

Degree: DCS
Goal of the program: To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to pilot an aircraft. There are three specializations:  multi-engine aircraft piloting, helicopter piloting or seaplane and single-engine aircraft piloting (on wheels an skis).
Note: To become a pilot, a professional pilot license is also required, along with additional licenses and annotations in order to fly different types of aircrafts.
Professional outcome: Pilot
Workplace: Airline companies 

ELECTROTECHNOLOGY

Degree: DCS
Length of training: 2,685 hours.
Goal of the program: To acquire the necessary knowledge in order to design, test, produce and set up materials, as well as electrical and electronic equipment. 
Professional outcome: Electronic engineering technologist.
Workplace: Aircraft and aircraft component manufacturers.
