Primary Roles / Responsibilities

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to lead and develop scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals using MSG-3 methodology to analyze aircraft systems. The chosen applicant will communicate closely with the customer to deliver project plans that meet the expectations from a quality and schedule standpoint.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a UAV aircraft maintenance program with the target to meet operational requirements, increase aircraft availability, and reduce downtime.

Develop maintenance planning document to increase UAV aircraft availability and reduce downtime and maintenance visits

Optimize the UAV maintenance schedule to meet operational requirements

Develop financial analysis to forecast maintenance costs and aircraft downtime.

Identify cost/downtime reduction initiatives, accordingly.

Track in-service components and systems reliability and develop action plans to improve the MTBUR/MTBF and aircraft dispatch reliability

Prepare detailed reports on cost reduction and increased dispatch initiatives for presentation to the Change Control Board (CCB)

Required Skills and Experience

8+ years of experience in developing scheduled maintenance tasks and intervals using MSG-3 methodology to analyze aircraft systems

Strong understanding of statistics and reliability analysis, Safety FMEA, FMECA, FTA and SFHA

Profound knowledge of aircraft Instructions for Continued Airworthiness

Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering accredited institute

Significant experience of direct client interaction, at management and working levels

Strong Interpersonal, Reporting, and Presentation skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Strong English oral & writing skills

Miscellaneous Requirements

Ability to travel as required

Must be eligible to work in Canada
