General responsibilities of the position :

Area of Expertise:
Provide technical support to the Engineering functional groups.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Under minimal supervision, performs varied and complex tasks
  • Applies advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area 
  • Adapts new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements of the position
  • May rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish some assigned tasks and goals
  • Resolves most questions and problems, may serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
  • May orient, train, assign and check the work of other employees

Specific responsibilities of position :

  • Coordinate, plan and execute the installation
  • of measuring instruments on engine parts for
  • all development programs, and execute th
  • e adjustment / fine tuning of the experimental engine parts. 
  • Coordinate, plan and execute the manufacturing
  • of prototype parts and mock-up for Marketing 
  • and Development.
  • Assist and perform some operations in test cell environment for special test.

Qualifications required :

  • College degree, or other post high school training (two years duration) 
  • 0 to 5 years experience required
  • Mechanical Fabrication

  • Aeronautical Manufacturing, Mechanical Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering

Additional Information :

There may opportunities to travel abroad. 
Working hours may be required as second shift 1 every 8th week.
