General responsibilities of the position :
As planned in the progression program, perform the simplest to the most complex of the department's operations in order to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of engine configurations. Observe the process and results of assembly performed by others in order to witness compliance with standards. May be asked to perform the simplest operations in order to install and test a limited variety of engine configurations. Perform related and general duties. Keep equipment and work station clean and in good working condition.


Specific responsibilities of position :

  • Assembles various experimental engine sub-assemblies, main line work, and testing of experimental gas turbine sub-assemblies or engines.
  • Performs work to approved Engineering Instructions including AFSs, giving necessary attention to the proper use and care of equipment, tools and safe working practice.
  • Follows standard and non-standard procedures to build, test and strip sub-assemblies and engines to specific engineering defined requirements. Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications required :
Candidates with an AME preferred. Both new and experienced candidates can be considered.
