• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to verification team members to ensure success of software verification projects. This includes where necessary guiding the verification approach and ensuring that software verification processes are followed.
• Work with the Manager to determine, assign and manage verification tasks allocated to team members.
• Formulate specific test approach(es) and tasks breakdowns based on overall project goals defined by the Manager.
• Schedule and actively participate in technical reviews to evaluate design testability.
• Develop a strong presence across engineering and other areas of the business to maximize collaboration and synergy in an effort to meet project goals.
• Watch for new technology trends that may affect present and future verification activities.
• Assist Software Engineering Management Team in authoring and implementing highly reliable standards compliant software engineering sub-processes as assigned (i.e. DO-178C, ISO12207 or equivalent)
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned by the Manager.

• Bachelor of Computer Engineering or equivalent (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technology Diploma with sufficient demonstrated experience)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Software Verification Engineering with progressive experience.

• Track record of being a strong technical contributor across a wide range of technical problems and across multiple developments.
• Have shown leadership potential on assigned projects.
• Have shown the ability to build and maintain professional relationships within and outside of engineering.
• Validation and verification of complex software, electrical and electro-optic integrated systems and subsystems.
• Deep technical understanding of how automated test frameworks function, build, and execute both natively and on target.
• Proven track record of developing solid testing strategies given available information, project requirements, and other stakeholder requirements.
• Understanding of Software Engineering principals and best practices.
• Strong project and technical management skills.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
