Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.

Heli-One has an opportunity for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers "M". The successful candidate will be responsible to assign or oversee the performance of work are accountable to production managers or supervisors and have the primary responsibility to coach, guide and direct employees under their oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform aircraft inspections
  • Ensure operating and maintenance procedures comply with industry and internal regulations and quality standards
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints
  • Test repaired aircraft systems and other routine maintenance work
  • Record problems and actions taken
  • Maintain accurate statement of maintenance history of the aircraft
  • Assist in instruction of apprentices
  • Work shifts /weekends as required
  • Some international travel may be required for MRT assignments
  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Transport Canada AME "M" Type license
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in helicopter line maintenance
  • Experience on Sikorsky, Bell or Airbus aircraft
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper based manuals
  • In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems and aviation standards
  • Self-motivated and logical problem solving capability
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple concurrent requirements, ambiguity and demanding situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
